The Noby T16 Digicorder is a 16-channel message record / playback system suitable for a variety of applications from simple lift floor announcements to customised alert messages driven by an intruder or fire alarm control panel (for example, warning of the area of fire or asking people to move to their nearest exit).
The Noby T16 can be factory programmed with up to 16 default recorded messages. These messages can be overwritten by subsequent user messages without actually erasing the default message, allowing the Digicorder to be adapted as your message needs change but with the default message always available when the user message is deleted.
All messages are prioritised with Channel 1 having the highest priority. The highest priority triggered message takes precedence but all lower priority messages remain in a queue until an opportunity for playback.
Audio recording of user messages is achieved either via a computer sound card or with direct connection of a condenser microphone. The line level can be optimised before recording using the onboard level adjust together aided by a line level display.
In addition, the Noby T16 Digicorder can be used to drive a small loudspeaker but may also be wired into an existing loudspeaker system.
